Delete your Diurnal.ai account

Last updated: October 8, 2026. Applies to the Diurnal.ai app for Android and iOS, published by PUREQUAD SRL (company details).

Option 1: in the app (immediate)

1. Open Diurnal.ai and go to Settings.
2. In the Data section, tap Delete account and all data. If you want a copy first, tap Export data before.
3. Confirm with Delete.

Your account and all data about you on our server are deleted immediately, together with everything the app keeps on your phone. You then return to the start screen.

Option 2: by e-mail, without the app

1. Write to support@diurnalapp.ai with the subject "Delete my account".
2. Send it from the e-mail address of your Diurnal.ai account, so we can confirm it is yours. If you signed in with Apple using a hidden e-mail address, or used the app as a guest without an e-mail address, tell us so and describe the account (for example the approximate sign-up date and your phone model); we may ask for more details before deleting, to protect you.
3. We confirm by e-mail and delete the account within 30 days of your request, usually much sooner. If you still have the app installed, uninstall it to remove the data kept on your phone.

What is deleted

• Your account (name, e-mail address, sign-in details) and your consent records.
• The copy of your data on our server: profiles and family members, supplement routine, conversations with Marc and his memory notes, meals, ticked doses and daily history, sleep entries, achievements, your Sport trainings and workouts, goal and mood check-ins.
• Your partner cycle sharing, friend requests, your friends (you leave their friend lists) and promo code redemptions.
• Your Sport community data: your sport profile, the workouts you posted, kudos, sport friends, requests, blocks and the trainings you shared, with their codes, reports about you and notices about moderation decisions. Reports you made are kept for review without your name.
• App usage statistics, support reports and their screenshots, security events and AI usage counters.
• Your newsletter subscription, if you had one.
• Your customer record at RevenueCat, our subscription processor.
• In the app (option 1): everything on your phone, including lab results, your genetic panel, your cycle log, the GPS tracks and saved routes of your activities, the caffeine log and the values read from Apple Health or Health Connect, which are never stored on our server.

What is kept, and for how long

• Revenue records of store purchases, which accounting and tax law require us to keep (in Romania, generally 10 years), are kept without your account id or other personal details.
• Copies in our daily database backups are deleted within 30 days.
• AI requests you made earlier may be kept by OpenAI, our AI processor, for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, without your name or account id, and are then deleted by OpenAI.
• Workouts the app saved to Apple Health or Health Connect with your permission stay there until you delete them in that app.

Delete only some data

• Delete single items (a meal, a lab report, the genetic panel, a family member, a conversation) in the app.
• Withdraw the health data consent in Settings to erase the copy of your data on our server while keeping your account; the app then keeps your data only on your phone.
• Switch off app usage statistics in Settings.
• Delete all your Sport data (trainings, workouts, routes, GPS tracks and your own exercises) in Sport settings; the workouts in the copy on our server are removed at the next sync. This does not delete your sport profile or the workouts you posted for your sport friends.
• Delete your sport profile in Sport, Sport friends, Your sport profile: your profile, posts, kudos, sport friends and shared trainings are erased from our server, and your account and your workouts stay.
• Disconnect Apple Health or Health Connect in the app to stop syncing and remove the heart rate, HRV and step values from your phone.
